Coal Dust Injection (CDI) technology for blast furnaces incorporates the use of fine pulverized and dried coal uniformly conveyed in dense flow mode in the several medium of safe nitrogen gas to the blast furnace tuyeres and injected into the furnace at PLC controlled metered rates through special lances.
