With technology from its technical associates, TRF manufactures and installs Stamping-Charging-Pushing (SCP) Equipment for coke ovens demonstrably providing revolutionary advantages over the conventional practice of top charged coke oven battery process, resulting in:
  • Appreciable reduction of M10 value of coke
  • Remarkable increase in CSR characteristics
  • Measurable increase in blast furnace productivity
  • Marked increase in coke-oven productivity.

The main functions of the rail mounted SCP machine are :

  • loading of minus 3 mm coal into a machine mounted hopper
  • stamping crushed and moisturized coal into a stable and chargeable cake (using the stamping system)
  • traveling and positioning to pre-programmed oven
  • front charging cake into the oven (with machine mounted charging device)
  • travelling to pre-programmed oven ready for pushing
  • pushing (with machine mounted pushing device) the readied coke to the wharf side.

These operations are executed with precise clockwork accuracy and repeatability, covering all ovens in a pre-programmed sequence.

SCP machines come complete with

  • power feeding arrangements
  • automatic door opening devices
  • door cleaning devices mounted
  • central automatic lubrication system
  • operator-friendly control system
  • comprehensive safety devices

A synchronized Charging Gas Cleaning Car, or a state-of-the-art Charging Gas Transfer System ensures emission levels to international environment control standards.

For conventional batteries, with technical know-how from its technical associates, TRF also manufactures and installs custom designed coke oven machinery, such as but not limited to:

  • Emission control systems
  • Pushing machines
  • Charging machines
  • Door Extractors
  • All Coke Side equipment
  • Data transfer and automation systems for coke ovens, and relevant machines.

Associates:

  • KOCH Transporttechnik GmbH, Germany (using Saarberg Stamp Charging Technology) -- for SCP Equipment.
  • Schalker Eisenhotte Maschinenfabrik GmbH, Germany -- for conventional Coke Oven machinery
